New album Decadence and Decay out now on digital, CD, cassette and limited-edition colored vinyl

The Portland-based dark power metal group SILVER TALON has unveiled the music video for “Divine Fury,” a standout track from their full-length debut album “Decadence and Decay,” which is now available. The song is the latest showcase of the guitar wizardry of Bryce VanHoosen (ex-Spellcaster) and Wyatt Howell’s soaring vocals. Say VanHoosen, “The silver beast returns! Divine Fury is the most outwardly Gnostic of all the tracks from Decadence and Decay, pitting our spiritual savior against a blind cybernetic god. We filmed the video over two days in an old industrial building in Portland, and directors Austin Livingston & Matthew Patterson went the distance in filming and editing. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!”

“Decadence and Decay” is the long-awaited follow-up to SILVER TALON’s acclaimed 2018 debut EP, “Becoming A Demon.” The full-length album is a masterful display of the thrilling combination of heavy metal hooks and guitar-driven virtuosity that has powered the band since their formation in 2017.

“Divine Fury” is the fourth video from the new record, following “Kill All Kings” (hailed by MetalSucks as “at once hard-hitting and melodic, melancholy and uplifting”), “As The World Burns” (which Metal Injection says showcases “everything that makes their triple guitar attack so killer in the first place”) and the album's blistering lead-off track, “Deceiver, I Am” (in which Decibel says the band “sound(s) absolutely immortal”). The album – which features striking cover artwork from noted fantasy artist Gerald Brom (Doom, Diablo, Magic: The Gathering, World of Warcraft) – also features a guest appearance by guitarist Andy La Rocque (King Diamond, Death) on the song “Resistance 2029.”
